There is no better way to learn more about, and sample, our local catch than attending a seafood event and trying some delicious dishes.
Below is a list of upcoming fish-related events in the Moray Firth areas, including those attended by Seafood – See Here!
Highland & Moray Food & Drink Festival, Saturday 28th May 2016 10.00-16.00
A date for your diary is the Highland and Moray Food and Drink Festival at Inverness UHI Campus on Saturday 28 May. There will be a great range of suppliers, tastings, demonstrations etc. As well as the featured chefs, there will be demos during the day in the UHI’s education section on how to fillet and prepare different types of seafood, featuring Billy from Highland Fish. See https://www.facebook.com/HighlandAndMorayFoodAndDrinkFestival.
The MFP’s ‘Seafood – See Here!’ project team will be there too, so do come and say hello, pick up some free recipes and tips. Children will enjoy our ‘fishy’ memory game. Remember to check out the interactive map showing businesses supplying local seafood, from restaurants to fish vans. For more info contact Kathryn Logan 01463 725028.
